Dear Mark and everyone in The City of Liverpool Pipes and Drums Band
Thank you so much for playing at our recent event, Everest and Beyond, held at Awesome Wall on November 20th.
Your playing and presence there was just amazing and a fantastic end to, what turned out to be an amazing day.
The weary climbers where cheered on by your musical talents and support.
The team climbed nearly 11km in the day, so they climbed once up Everest and half way up it again.
The total raised is not yet known, but the proceeds from this, and other events in the year mean that the Mersey Regional Head and Neck Cancer centre can undertake important research into the patient/ carer burden of head and neck cancers.
I look forward to seeing the band perform again. I wish you all well for the future.
